Work Flow Management: Development of a Comprehensive Custom Commercial Rebate Program Work Management System
AEG has developed a comprehensive work management system for the administration of a complex Commercial Custom Rebate Program for a large multi-state dual service utility in the US midwest. The system empowers customers, program staff, third party vendors, and executives to participate, manage and maintain the vast amount of data and workflow associated with this type of program. The project deliverables were to:
- Provide the utility with an Online Benefit Cost Screening Tool for a Commercial Custom Rebate Program that can be utilized by the account managers of the mandated utilities, contractors that are hired to augment utility staff, and customers with access to the utility website.
- Provide the utility with a website that offers customers a comprehensive list of technologies and applications that are likely to pass rebate screening, as well as an online communication channel through which customer may engage in dialog with utility staff and/or contracted energy experts who can advise and guide them through the project identification, screening, and rebate application process.
- Provide the utility with an Online Workflow Management System that:
- Provide functionality to assign and track work related to the Commercial Custom Rebate Program (for both utility personnel and contractors), including customer contacts, online information requests, online rebate screenings, online rebate applications, and rebate processing.
- Manage the customer rebate screening and approval process from anywhere that has an internet connection
- Provide comprehensive “on-the-fly” reporting, archiving and data access related to program participation, installed technologies, program interest, processed rebates, and program impacts.
