AEG has been selected by the Long Island Power Authority to assist in the development of a 140mW wind Park off of the south shore of Long Island. AEG has been providing technical and project management support to LIPA including such services as bid evaluation, developer negotiations, interconnection planning, public and regulatory outreach, scheduling and permit planning. The project will provide power to more than 40,000 homes on Long Island and may be the first offshore wind project built in the U.S..
